Exports

Order exports use the reports:read scope and are asynchronous:

  1. POST /v3/orders/export to create an export.
  2. Save the returned export ID.
  3. GET /v3/orders/export/{exportId} until it is ready.
  4. Download from GET /v3/orders/export/{exportId}/download.

Use a bounded polling interval and stop on terminal failure. Export download links or responses may be short-lived; fetch them only when needed.

Exports can contain customer and operational data. Store them in an access-controlled location, encrypt them in transit and at rest, and delete them according to your retention policy. Do not attach production exports to support tickets without an approved secure transfer path.
